On Tuesday, September 6th there will be a Junior High football game, followed by a JV football game. The Junior High game starts at 4:00 PM. The Pirates will be playing Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy. The JV game was not on the schedule, but Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy does have enough players to play.

Friday night's Avon Pirate football game will be broadcast on two Mitchell radio stations. Both Kool 98.3 and Q107.3 will be broadcasting the game against Freeman/Freeman Academy/Marion. Game time is 7:00 PM.

The Avon Booster Club will be selling old Pirate uniforms and helmets this Friday at the Homecoming Parade and Booster Club Tailgate. Stop by their table if you are interested. There will be a youth Punt, Pass & Kick right after the Parade at the Avon Football Field. The Booster Club Tailgate will start at 5:00 PM at the Football Field.

There will be a brief high school volleyball meeting after the All Sports Meeting Thursday, August 11th.

A reminder that the mandatory sports meeting will be held on Thursday, August 11th at 7:30 PM. All athletes and at least one parent must be in attendance. There will also be a short meeting for anyone interested in going out for Cross Country immediately after the sports meeting.
