Following the Homecoming parade on September 15, the Booster Club will be hosting Punt, Pass, and Kick at the football field. Boys and girls, kindergarten through age 14 are encouraged to come participate!
Sign up will be held at the field.
Twenty-one 5th and 6th grade students participated in Mrs. Haenfler's summer reading challenge! Today they enjoyed a trip to Barnes and Noble for a store tour, picked up their free book, and grabbed a Starbucks drink!
We will be adding a Junior Varsity game on September 18th against Centerville. Game time will be approximately 5:30.
The football game against Gayville-Volin Friday, September 8th, will have a 6:00 kickoff.
The JH football team will be competing in the Scotland/Menno Middle School Jamboree this Saturday, September 9th beginning at 10:00AM.

The Student Council will be hosting a Blood Drive on September 19. If you would like to donate, please see flyer attached or contact a student council member or Mrs. Fathke. Student Council Members: Landon Thury, McKenna Kocmich, Courtney Sees, and Paxton Bierema.

Avon Pirate Homecoming is Friday, September 15th. Any classes from the 40's, 50's and 60's that are having reunions that weekend are invited to a get together at the Pour Corner banquet room immediately after the parade. The parade starts at 1:30 PM on Main Street.
Burke will be hosting a tailgate supper Friday night before the football game. See attachment for details.
