Congratulations to Avon Senior Courtney Sees on winning the State Class B Girls Long Jump this past weekend at Howard Wood in Sioux Falls! Courtney jumped 17' 3.75". This is Courtney's third consecutive state title in the long jump! The photos are courtesy of SD Public Broadcasting.
A reminder that if you signed up for Basketball Camp it starts today from 9:30 - 11:30 am.
Lauren Sees will be offering basketball workouts for students in the Avon and surrounding areas, for both boys and girls entering
3rd - 12th grade.
These sessions will last 40 minutes each and take place in the Avon gym during weekday mornings. I have attached a link below that allows you to sign your child up. There is also a lot more information on the website regarding the workouts.
When signing up your child - please put their name, grade, and basketball position in the box labeled MY COMMENT section. There will also be a quantity drop down arrow - this can be ignored, sorry for the confusion.

Homecoming 2024 details
The Region 4B Golf Tourney for today has been postponed to Wednesday, May 22 at Mitchell. The first group will tee off tomorrow morning at 9:00. Good luck to the Avon Pirates!
Any student interested in participating in the acceleration program this summer may sign up using the Google form below or return the sign-up sheet handed out at school. Payment may be brought to the first session.
Dates: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the summer
*June 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24
*July 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26
