Congratulations to the Class of 2023!

5th and 6th grade went on their field trip today to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center in Sioux City, IA. They also went to Gavin's Point Visitor Center in NE to hike the nature trail and Gavin's Point Recreation Center.

Congratulations to our Preschool Graduates!!

Second and Third graders had a virtual field trip to Prague over Face Time. We tuned in with Kory DeJong (Avon HS alumni) and Anna Krepelkova (former exchange student) as they took us on a walking tour of the city, answered our questions, and shared parts of the Czech culture. It was a great experience for our students!!

If anyone is interested in mowing for the School District this summer contact Gregg. It usually averages around 5-10 hours per week as long as it rains.

The varsity softball game with Bon Homme will start at 6:15 PM.

The softball games with Bon Homme have been delayed. When weather passes we will play a varsity game only.

Congratulations to this group of elementary students for meeting their Book-it goal! They met the reading goal their teachers set for them from October to March. Great job!!

The Preschool class performed their Circus this morning. Their performance was great! Thank you to Mrs. Brandt for organizing this for the students every year. Great job preschoolers!!

The start time for the softball games with Bon Homme on May 11th has been moved to 5:00 PM with JV first, followed by the varsity game.

The start time for the softball game against Gayville-Volin on Monday, May 8th has been moved to 4:30 PM. Varsity game first followed by the JV game.

The elementary had some fun with a Spring Fling this afternoon. They played some Minute to Win it games. Lots of fun was had!!

The track meet in Lake Andes tomorrow has been pushed back and hour. Bus leaves at 8:30 am Field events at 10 am Running events at 11:45 am

Northeast Community College Jazz Machine came to perform for the students today. It was a great performance and the students enjoyed the music!

Here is the schedule for the Gayville-Volin Softball Tournament to be held in Gayville and Volin on Satuirday, April 29th. Lady Pirates play Gayville-Volin the first game at 9:00 AM in Gayville.
