A 5th and 6th grade girls basketball game has been added to the schedule tomorrow, November 21st in Tyndall against Bon Homme. The 5-6th game will start at 4:00 followed by the Junior High game.

Congratulations to the Avon Oral Interpretation Team on a successful day at the region competition on November 14. The following events qualified for the State Oral Interpretation Festival on December 1st and 2nd in Harrisburg. The Avon Oral Interp Team will compete at Regions on November 14 at the downtown Mitchell Methodist Church. The competition schedule is as follows: Kate Swier - 9:00 AM Storytelling Lexi Vanderlei - 9:00 AM Non-Original Oratory Noah Watchorn - 10:00 AM Serious Prose Kate Swier/Ashley Tolsma - 12:30 PM Duet Ashley Tolsma - 12:30 PM Humorous Prose Noah Watchorn/Lexi Vanderlei/Ella Hamilton/Hope Kemnitz/Jake Namminga/Abby Gretschmann - 1:45 Reader's Theater The top three students in each competition will qualify for the state tournament. The Oral Interp team also invites all friends, family, and community members to attend the Oral Interp Night of Excellence in the main gym on Monday, November 20th at 7:00 PM. All oral interp students will be performing their pieces.
