The Avon School gym and weight room will be closed for all public access today (Thursday, July 1) through Sunday, July 4. The facilities will open back up Monday morning. The closure is due to the annual gym floor refinish project.
The Avon School District is hiring for the 2021-2022 school year! The District is hiring two SPED paraprofessionals, one General Education paraprofessional, and one full time substitute. The Boys and Girls Club of Wagner has received a donation of football cleats and gloves from the Under Armour Company. Anyone that wishes to receive either of these items can stop by the club in Wagner during their office hours. Sizes of the cleats range from 8.5 to 13.
Congratulations to McKenna Kocmich and coach Jeff Haenfler! McKenna shot 95 on the first day of competition. The second day she shot a 90. McKenna placed 18th. #piratepride

The Jim Flevares Battle of the States Track Meet that was scheduled for April 20th in Tyndall has been cancelled.
The Avon/Scotland Junior High and Junior Varsity Golf Meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 20th has been postponed until Thursday, April 22nd. The Junior High will be playing Scotland and the Junior Varsity in Tyndall. Start time is 10:00 AM.
The Wagner track meet scheduled for today has been cancelled.
School Board election is tomorrow, April 13th at the Avon Fire Hall. The poll is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Make sure you bring your drivers license to vote.
