The 2nd graders took a walk down the street to the greenhouse this afternoon. Thankful Mensch’s for taking the time for us to come visit and learn about plants today.

Elementary students got a chance to reflect on their school year. On their butterflies they told us what their favorite part of the school year was and what they are looking forward to next year.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thanks, ladies, for keeping our crew well fed and doing it with a smile!

As the seniors days wind down, they went down to watch their 1st grade video with Mrs. Kuhlman today. Such fun memories!

The 5th and 6th graders took a field trip to Sioux City today! They toured and enjoyed a presentation at Sergeant Floyd River Museum. They also visited the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center where they learned more about the expedition of Lewis and Clark.

The circus is in town!! 🎪The preschoolers entertained us this morning with their circus performance!

The 5th and 6th graders will be home a little later from their field trip. They should arrive home between 3:45-4pm.

The seniors had a great time in Kansas City for their senior trip. Their itinerary included:
*BRKthrough
*Kansas City Arrowhead stadium tour
* Union Station, Crown Center, WWI Museum
*Supper at Laney's Get Down- kids even got to share their talent and sing on the stage!
*Creative Culture- students had the opportunity to do some splatter painting
* Go Ape Zipline Adventure Park

I heard it through the grapevine that the K-5 students did a terrific job of singing the history of Rock and Roll. You definitely had Mr. Kuhlman tapping his toes! I'm ready to put another dime in the jukebox. Thanks to Mrs. Schultz and Mr. Sexe for putting on a fantastic show.

Nationwide, cell phone usage in schools has become a hot topic. According to the AP At least eight states — California, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Ohio, South Carolina and Virginia — have enacted measures banning or restricting students’ use of cellphones in schools. In light of these policies and with the high probability this issue could be brought up in Pierre next spring, I am asking you to take a quick survey shown below on the use of cell phones during school hours. There is a comment box, so your input is greatly valued. Thanks for your participation!
