The Creative English students enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Hubbell’s aunt Lisa, who publishes children’s books under the pen name Jo Night. She discussed her inspiration for writing and shared the process she goes through to write, illustrate, and publish her own books!

If you see any red cans around town they are for the Bon Homme Child Protection Team and they are raising money for families in the county to receive a holiday meal. In Avon, they are located at Made Coffee House, Ron's Market, and A-1 if you would like to donate. Below is some more information about the Bon Homme Child Protectection if you don't know who they are!

As you begin your holiday shopping, remember to shop our school store!

This month the National Honor Society students wanted to recognize diabetes awareness and asked students and staff to wear blue, as you can see we had an amazing turn out! There was quite a bit of SDSU blue too🙂

Thank you to all who joined us last night for our Family Reading Quest! It was a blast!

Take advantage of this opportunity to see Mother Nature in Action. Below is a link with some information about the Northern Lights. It's not magic, it's science! Chemistry students show me a picture at your house for a bonus point.
