Students and Parents/Guardians: Tardiness Expectations
Last semester, tardiness to class was a significant concern. Being on time is an important life skill and directly impacts student learning and accountability. For example, in our first week back to class, 14 students were tardy throughout the week.
To help address this, beginning this semester and starting next week, if a student is tardy to class, they will lose open campus privileges for the following week. If students are tardy more than 3 times, they receive an After-School Service as well. Students have been reminded and informed of this this week!
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing the importance of arriving to class on time and helping students build responsible habits. Thank you for your continued support.
