Freshmen got some early practice for next semester’s speech class! They wrote and delivered persuasive speeches, from the perspective of their assigned turkey, and pleaded about why they should be pardoned! Some of the groups really got into it by providing their own props and giving their best gobble! Mrs. Hubbell was impressed!



Soup from a stone…fancy that! The kindergarten class enjoyed listening to their treasure book and ended the day with a nice warm bowl of stone soup. They were thankful for another great day of school! Happy Thanksgiving!

The Sophomores got a chance to check out the career fair in Armour and try out a few different career options!



The preschoolers are thankful for our families, friends, food, our houses, and more! Happy Thanksgiving!

The Conceptual chemistry class celebrated a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving by making butter and enjoying toast, jellybeans, and popcorn! The students will look at the properties of butter, calculate their percentage yield, and finally determine at what price they would need to sell their butter to make a profit.

The 7th graders went shopping today for a Thanksgiving dinner. They are using different store’s sale ads and applying coupons for different percentages to get the total cost of their feast! They will compare store’s prices when they are done.
