Kindergarten Graduates! 🎓
Mrs. Kocmich had a great program to honor our kindergarten students! Ready or not, first grade here they come!




A big Shout Out to Nikki Fathke and Sips of Bloom for their support of the Avon School. A portion of each drink bought at school events is donated back to school. This year, over $500 has been donated back! Hooks up!


Preschool walked the red carpet today to celebrate their graduation! They had some cake to celebrate their accomplishments this year. They are ready to take on kindergarten!!





We tried something new today, grades K-4 spent part of the morning in their future classrooms with their teachers. After talking to some of the kids, they loved it!

2nd grade had their "campout" today filled with reading under the stars, s’mores, and reminiscing by the campfire. 🏕️

In Mrs Swier' s 6th grade social studies, students ended the year researching the ancient civilizations of Rome, Greece and China.
Today students shared their slide shows with their classmates!






While the K-4 were shadowing their classrooms for next year, Mrs. Cihak and the 5th graders were busy being math surgeons!






What better way to end the year in ELA than with an 8th grade literary scavenger hunt! Students had to get creative to turn 10 different literary elements into a photo shoot!






The 6th grade finished their TOP program this past week. They chose to read to younger classes as their project. They picked a beautiful day to do it!







The third and 4th graders enjoyed an educational field trip to Ashfall Fossil Beds near Royal Nebraska and Pierson Wildlife Museum in Neligh, NE. They learned about paleontology and got to touch volcanic ash. They were able to touch an elephants foot and reindeer hide. The collection of safari animals included the "Big Five" and the "Grand Slam."
