The freshmen and sophomore ELA classes were blessed with a special visitor today! Local author, Kara Frei, came to talk about her experiences with writing, as well as perform a writer’s workshop with the classes. Students were journaling about different topics and then moving around the room to share their writing with their classmates. Thank you, Kara, for making writing fun!
The juniors went outside today to do a complex number simplify scoot!

The District receives reimbursement for meals, as well as qualifying for various grants based on the percentage of free and reduced qualifiers.

Avon School Activity Tickets are available at the business office. Adults $45, Family $85. We do not sell activity tickets at the gate. Patrons without a ticket will be required to pay admission at the gate. Please stop in to purchase tickets. The first home game is Friday night.

2.) GBB and BBB cheerleader advisor (Duties: Assist and supervise the cheerleaders for boys and girls basketball. )

I think this is year number 39 and it never gets old! Something very special about the first day of school. I can't wait to see all our Pirates Tommorow. Get ready for a fun and challenging year. We are going to push the students hard academically and in sports and other extracurricular activities. Embrace hard, Iron sharpens iron. We sail at 8:10!

If you plan to walk in with your child, please park on the west side of Pine Street to avoid stopping the flow of traffic as students are being dropped off by the sidewalk.
This will also be utilized during drop-off for a late start, if we should have one.
